I spent 25 days in the Birch Bay Cabin while I was waiting to move into my new home nearby. I enjoyed every minute of my time there. The cabin is cozy and comfy, with everything you need to have a wonderful vacation or, in my case, a transitional home. The location is amazing. Walk outside into the huge back yard and enjoy views of a stream, the forested state park and the bay. Sunsets were magical. There's a fire pit for nighttime bonfires. Walks on the beach just across the street were magical. The owners are super personable and helpful, and even have bikes and a canoe for your use. I really lucked out finding this cabin, and now, so have you!

Glorious peace & quiet during the "off season". The sun appeared today & many people visited the state park. I took a leisurely drive through the park & beyond, then cut through the campsites. Wowed by mansions along Semiahmoo. I stopped at the knitting shop in Birch Bay yesterday - lots of neat stuff there as well as the best selections of wool & knitting tools I've seen.

Had some great weather. We biked to Semiahmoo, kayaked the creek and went up to the bird sanctuary in Langley, BC. We saw 51 species of birds. Also saw bald eagles in back, many nesting barn swallows and green backed heron by creek. Clammed at low tide and found many horse clams. Thanks so much!

Great week. Weather perfect, cabin very well equipped, nice neighbors. Perfect relaxing week. Only one suggestion, don't use the carport when the birds are nesting.

I've brought the sunshine. Cool, crisp weather. Border wait over an hour. We tried out the new Bob's Burgers and Brew at the Birch Bay Village. Very nicely decorated. I used a presto log as a fire starter to burn cut wood, that worked really well. The fireplace is a real bonus. We'll be back.

Spring has sprung with the help of lots of rain. Had some sunny days too. Enjoyed time with family and friends, puppy too. Yard is not dog proof - bought a roll of chicken wire and rolled it out between the house and shed. Did the trick! Have left chicken wire for dog fence in shed for others to use if needed.

We enjoyed the beautiful sunset on the water. We went to Seattle's mall outlets on wednesday. I can recommend this if you are a shopper and looking for bargains. When I come again I will leave for Birch Bay with an earlier start. I can recommend the C Shop in Birch Bay for fresh bread and fabulous cinammon buns. The local store is quite equipped with everything you need and is open daily. The birds here are plenty and their songs are very sweet. We have enjoyed sleeping late and relaxing. No cell phones ringing - what a relief.

We were truly blessed with beautiful weather this week. Just perfect for beach lounging! We enjoyed the cabin so much, hope to be able to come again next summer. Thanks for the great time!

Had lots of fun despite lots of rain. Loved the canoe and bikes. Got lots of mileage out of them. Four teenagers in one cabin could be a hectic thing, but it actually worked out really well. Shopping heaven in Bellingham!

What a great time, most of which was sunny. The tide was out for mornings. Did lots of card games on rainy days. Went to the waterslides, golfing, and beach combing. Could not ask for more. Great place and good times!! Thank you.
